Sexual Reproductive Health/HIV & GBV programing
In line with Ministry of Health (MoH) guidelines, ACU integrates SRHR/HIV & SGBV services. This offers a platform for communities to be reached with information, HIV prevention, care and treatment interventions. Specifically, we reach adolescents and youths with services like contraception, cervical cancer screening, post arbotion care as well as treatment and support for survivors of SGBV
Additionally, through our peer-to-peer model, we have strengthened community sensitization and SRHR awareness creation to the adolescents within some of the most affected communities. This as well in response to the escalating teenage pregnancies resulting from the Covid-19 induced lockdowns.
